Video: Fixing Health Care

The following video footage is an interview by the Wall Street Journal of the CEO of Kaiser Permanente. The topic is, of course, how to 'fix' America's health-care system. There's a not-so-subtle point I wish to make to the viewer; please notice where the CEO indicates that "the buyers [of insurance] -- that's the corporations -- need to start demanding quality of care". I humbly suggest that the well-known mechanism of quality degradation as a function of degrees of fiscal separation from the consumer just might have something to do with how we got here.
