The Amazing Vanishing Author

I've been a very bad blogger.

I broke a major rule: don't abandon your blog -- especially without explanation. And to my readers, I apologize. It's as simple -- and humble -- as that. For those whom have been long-standing readers, you might have picked up that I am/was a worker in the mortgage industry. As of the beginning of this month, that is no longer the case. Between working in a temporary capacity and the effort to find full-time work, something has had to give.

And, unfortunately, you're reading it now. I promise you this, however; when my circumstances become more stable, so too shall my posting pattern.

In the meantime, please peruse the following:

In the meantime -- please, feel free to discuss recent events & technological developments in the comments of this post.

Reader Feedback Moment: Format Improvements?

It's that time of the month, again: if you're a regular reader -- or if you just stumbled across this page -- please, feel free to put in your two cents; what would you like to see more of? What would you like to see less of? (Content-wise, you pranksters out there!)

How do you feel about the increase in media-formats? (That is, the new use of videos).

Inquiring mind(s) want to know.

EDIT: Today's article was going to be a follow-up on police brutality, but there being so many examples of blatant police abuse, I both A) didn't know where to begin and B) got too disheartened to follow through. So -- please; discuss.

Monthly Feedback Time

Yes, that's right, my 'gentle' readers: time once again for you, my loyal minions -- err, readers, to "[/lurk]" and begin with the input. Tell us about yourselves: where you get your nickname from; what interests you 'bout the site; what, if any, articles you liked most; what, if any, improvements you'd like to see in the site.

Make your voices heard!

Reader's Input Time

Are you a regular reader of this blog? Have you stumbled upon this post in err?

Either way, please -- take the time to leave a bit 'bout yourself: why you chose the handle or nickname you use, if it isn't your real name; whereabouts in the world you're from; what interests you in this blog; what improvements you'd like to see, if any.

The floor is open: C'mon, people!

June Round-Up

Once again that time has come: The floor is open to you, my lurk... err; readers!

Tell us a bit about yourselves -- are you a libertarian, a transhumanist, a Croatian hemetic/necrotic thaumaturge with albinism?

Any suggestions, items you think I missed? Things you would like to see more of?

The sky's the limit! (Just don't hit it too hard...)

May Round-Up

Howdy, folks.

If you're a regular reader at this blog -- or just like to pretend you are (I'm not all that picky, here anyhow) -- I'd appreciate it if you would go ahead and leave a comment with your chosen "nickname", something saying whereabouts in the world you are in, and maybe a sentence describing yourself if you feel so adventurous. I'll pop the cork on this one myself to get the ball rolling.

Oh, and if you have any suggestions, ideas, or complaints about where I'm taking this beast, let me know. Bloviation isn't just for the elites! (I never said I was humble.) :)
